I might point out, if its not stretching the metaphor too far, that he tackles one problem at a time, whilst maintaining the other two in a holding pattern until he can get to them, rather than trying to do everything all at once. Also that he’s not remotely showy about it and no-one in the immediate vicinity really appreciates the immensity of his achievement.
